Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse (the French name "Les Éclaireurs" means "the Enlighteners" or "the Scouts") is a slightly conically shaped lighthouse standing on the northeastern-most island of the five or more Les Eclaireurs islands, which it takes its name from, 5 nautical mile east of Ushuaia in the Beagle Channel, Tierra del Fuego, southern Argentina. It is commonly regarded as the southernmost city in the world. Ushuaia is located in a wide bay on the southern coast of the island of Tierra del Fuego, bounded on the north by the Martial mountain range and on the south by the Beagle Channel. It is also the setting off port for many Antarctic cruises.
