New York City, USA - March 18, 2011: A closeup view of a portion of 4,609 names inscribed on the East Coast Memorial monuments pylon blocks located in Battery Park, at the southern most point of Manhattan. The monument honors those U.S. Sailors, Merchant Marines and U.S. Marine Corps personnel lost in the Atlantic Ocean during conflict in WWII. The pylons were erected in 1959 and was completed and dedicated by the U.S. Government in 1963.
