Haridwar, India - March 12, 2010: Painting the bindi on a woman's face at the Kumbh Mela after a bath in the Ganges river.Kumbh Mela is a Hindu pilgrimage of faith in which Hindus gather at a sacred river for a bath in that river. It is held every third year at one of the four places by rotation: Haridwar, Allahabad, Nasik and Ujjain. After the bath the bindi or tikka are renewed(the red indian spot on the forehead). It is a very colourful spectacle to observe.
