Greenwich, England - April 16, 2011: Passengers queuing at Greenwich Pier to board a fast boat - a Thames Clipper - towards London. The iconic buildings of Canary Wharf can be seen opposite: it is one of London's main financial districts and was built on the site of the former West India Docks on the Isle of Dogs in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. From 1802 the West India Docks was one of the busiest in the world but, by the 1950s, the docks industry declined and they were closed in 1980.
