'Majestic green triangular-shaped landmark Sentinel Building owned by Francis Ford Coppola in the heart of the North Beach area of San Francisco. Also known as Columbus Tower, it is a mixed-used building completed in 1907. It is in the Flatiron style of architecture - after the Flatiron Building in Manhatten. The restaurant Cafe Zoetrope resides on the first floor, and the building is headquarters for Coppola's film production company, American Zoetrope. The distinctive copper-green Flatiron style structure is bounded by Columbus Avenue, Kearny Street and Jackson Street - straddling the North Beach, Chinatown and Financial districts of the city. In the early twentieth-century the structure was owned by Abe Ruef after being paroled from San Quentin. He was a lawyer and political boss convicted of bribery. The Grateful Dead recorded their first album in the basement. San Francisco, California, 2012.'
