Chesterton Old Windmill United Kingdom, designed by indigo jones in the Warwickshire countryside near Leicester
"Erected out of local hard limestone with sandstone details, in 1632 to a design attributed to the famous architect Inigo Jones. The windmill is one of Warwickshire's most famous landmarks, standing on a hilltop near Warwick for nearly 350 years. It was built in 1632-1633, by Sir Edward Peyto and it remained in working order until 1910. It is the earliest tower mill in England to retain any of its working parts, following itaas successful restoration in the 1960aas. The design is unique, being supported on six arches and mechanically unique, with wooden gearing."
