The John Muir Way is a path which crosses Scotland from Dunbar in the East to Helensburgh in the west. The far end of Dunbar Street is the start of the John Muir way. Dunbar is a town on the North Sea coast in East Lothian in the south-east of Scotland, approximately 30 miles (48 km) east of Edinburgh and 30 miles (48 km) from the English border north of Berwick-upon-Tweed.
