Widely recognised as in the Top Ten most spectacular and notoriously difficult drives in the World with over 70 hairpin bends, this stunning collection of 25 images all shot on the same day is a pictorial catalogue of anyone wishing to navigate the 100 mile route. Beginning and ending in Meiringen, in Haslital, Canton Bern the route taken was anti-clockwise. It commences with the ascent of the Grimsel Pass to the highpoint at 2164 Metres (7033 feet) illustrated by the first 6 images. The next 9 images are the descent down into Goms, Canton Valais and the next ascent up to the Furka Pass, the highest of the three with a highpoint of 2431 Metres (7900 feet). The next 5 images illustrate the descent into the Andermatt Valley in Canton Uri and the final 5 images cover the ascent of the Susten Pass back in the direction of Meiringen, Canton Bern with an ascent to 2265 metres (7361 feet).
