Tarakan, Indonesia - October 08, 2022 : The Iraw Tengkayu Festival is a traditional ceremony and competition held by the Tidung people in Tarakan City, North Kalimantan Province. Iraw Tengkayu is a hereditary ceremony performed by the Tidung tribal community, Tarakan City, North Kalimantan Province. Iraw Tengkayu itself has two meanings taken from the Tidung language. Iraw which means celebration or party, while Tengkayu is a small island surrounded by the sea, which means the small island here is Tarakan Island.

Ketupat Lebaran, the Indonesian elaborate meal of rice cake with meat and vegetable side dishes, served during Eid celebrations. The rice cake is cooked in diamond shaped casing made from woven coconut leaves. The accompanying dishes served are White Chicken Curry, Beef Rendang, Shrimps in Red Chili Paste, Spicy Liver Stew, Red Vegetable Curry Soup, and Shrimp Crackers. The dishes are arranged on a wooden table lined with a table liner. Several cumin leaves are used to decorate the table.

The dishes are arranged on a table lined with traditional Balinese woven textile called Seseh cloth.
