Horned Lizards (Phrynosoma) are unique lizards that posses a set of "Horns" protruding from the back of the head. These horns are made of actual bone and come in a variety of shapes and sizes depending on the species of lizard. They can be found in a variety of habitats throughout North America. The Greater Short-horned Lizard (Phrynosoma hernandesi) is typically found in mid to high elevation habitats and often in heavily forested areas.

The turquoise-browed motmot is a colourful, medium-sized bird of the motmot family, Momotidae. It inhabits Central America from south-east Mexico to Costa Rica, where it is common and not considered threatened. It lives in fairly open habitats such as forest edge, gallery forest and scrubland. It is more conspicuous than other motmots, often perching in the open on wires and fences. From these perches it scans for prey, such as insects and small reptiles.

Lilium ‘Yellow Power’ is a hybrid Asiatic lily that bursts into bloom in early summer with its stunning, bright yellow petals that form large upward-facing trumpet flowers. With mid-sized to tall stems, it is an ideal choice for fresh cut flowers. Lilium is a genus of herbaceous flowering plants growing from bulbs, all with large prominent flowers. They are true lilies and are tall perennials. They form underground bulbs. Flowers come in a wide range of colors including whites, yellows, oranges, pinks, reds and purples. Markings include spots and brush strokes. Flowers are borne at the tip of the stem, with six tepals spreading or reflexed, to give flowers varying from funnel shape to a "Turk's cap".
