A vertical of the Tabuk region, NEOM
It was built in England in 1949 and launched as a cargo liner in 1960. The Georgios G Shipwreck ship’s crew had no idea how dangerous their cargo hold would be when they were stranded on a reef off the coast of Saudi Arabia in the Gulf of Aqaba in 1978. Particles of flour were hanging in the air above the frantic technicians as they desperately tried to restart the engine. Half-submerged shipwreck with a beautiful beach and mountains in the background. Because of its location on a cliff, the shipwreck is affectionately referred to by the locals as “The Titanic of Saudi Arabia.”
