Military paratrooper. This jumper configuration indicates a special operations mission, using the MC-5 Static Line/Free Fall Ram Air Parachute System (SL/FF RAPS). The system allows for a higher drop altitude, typically 12,500 feet, and a longer distance to the target, typically 2 miles or so. The parachute system also allows the jumper to carry up to 100 pounds of equipment. The jumper is holding the adjustable toggles that allow him to "steer" the direction of his fall. He has lowered his equipment pack in preparation for landing and his weapon is free for rapid deployment upon landing. March 31, 2019 Melbourne, Florida USA

Originally Built in 1902, the hotel now operates as the Omni Mount Washington Hotel. It is located at the northern end of Crawford Notch and is one of the last surviving grand hotels in the White Mountains. It was extensively renovated in 1999. It is a National Historic Landmark. P 38 Lightning World War 2 Fighter plane. Over 10,000 were built during World War 2, and it the only fighter that was in continuous production throughout the war. It was flown by America's highest scoring ace, Richard Bong, who is credited with 40 kills. The P 38 was highly effective in a variety of combat roles, including dogfighting, ground attack, and bomber escort. One of the P 38's most famous missions was the its role in the intercept and shooting down of a Japanese bomber carrying Admiral Yamamoto, resulting in his death. Chino, California, USA May 4, 2019

Construction of the Shell Pennsylvania Petrochemicals Complex along the Ohio River in Beaver County, PA. The location is 25 miles northwest of Pittsburgh. As of this date, it is one of the largest active construction projects in the US.It will be fed by a network of pipelines from across Appalachia much produced by hydraulic fracturing or "fracking". It is a community shrine to the second verse of the song "Take It Easy", sung by the Eagles and written by Jackson Browne and Glenn Frey. The trail to the Narrows in Zion National Park. The trail starts at the Temple of Sinawava shuttle stop and follows the Virgin River. It follows the Virgin River and gradually narrows until hikers must actually walk in the water through the narrowest part of the slot canyon.

A SpaceX Falcon 9 booster rocket is returned to Port Canaveral. The rocket is being towed up the shipping channel on the barge on which it landed on 12/13/2020 following a successful satellite launch. FW Woolworth store in Greensboro, North Carolina, site of the International Civil Rights Center & Museum. On February 1, 1960, four black students from the North Carolina Agricultural and technical State University staged a non-violent protest by starting a sit-in at the Woolworth's lunch counter posted for "whites only". The event sparked a broader sit-in movement that ultimately grew to over 70,000 participants. It also led to the store chain reversing its whites-only policy. Greensboro, NC, USA March 10, 2018
