The largest migration in the world of Sand Hill Cranes happens in the middle of Nebraska as these cranes fly up from warmer climates on their way to Canada and Siberia. They stop here to feed and fatten, mostly in March, before they go on. It is a magnificent sight. This was taken near Hastings, NE. The sounds these birds make is unforgettable.
