Oryx family (adult couple + two calves) roam and run over the dunes of the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve. This nature reserve will extend into Saudi Arabia and Oman but for now it is a 225 Km2 area within the borders of the Dubai Emirate and it has a fascinating desert fauna populations, including Oryxes, gazelles, wild dogs, caracals and wild cats.

Hamilton Pool Preserve, a natural pool in Texas that was created when the top of an underground river eroded.
