A building site where a skyscraper and old Victorian warehouse are being renovated. Belfast, Northern Ireland. Cross-processed. The tall building under construction, with outer modular insulated walls exposed, waiting for fixing of outer skin of weather-proof panels is Windsor House. It was originally constructed in 1974 as a 24 storey office building. It was designed by Ulster Properties. In 2017 Belfast City Council granted planning permission for the building to be extended, renovated and re-purposed by the Hastings Group as a hotel. The redevelopment was designed by WDR & RT Taggarts. The hotel is due to open in 2018. In the foreground is a derelict linen warehouse, the Ewart Building. It was design by James Hamilton and built in 1869.
