Description

Contrast between the natural beauty of the hills of the Lake District and the intrusive M6 motorway running through it. A landscape shot of Tebay Fell on the eastern edge of the English Lake District. The M6 motorway runs through the Fells at this point following the course of the River Lune. The West Coast main railway line (WCML) runs parallel to the motorway and lies just beyond the carriageway, hidden from view by virtue of being at a slightly lower level. Light traffic on the motorway.
