Description
a multi-ethnic family is shopping together at a local supermarket. The mid-adult Hispanic father and the mid-adult Caucasian mother are there with their three daughters. The daughters are elementary age, preschool age and a baby. The mother is holding the baby in a black baby carrier that is strapped to her body. The family is shopping in the produce department. The mother picks up a bunch of leafy greens and shakes the excess water from the sprinkler off of them. She smells the greens and hands it to her elementary age daughter and she then places it in a shopping cart. The mother then picks up another bunch, smells it, hands it to her elementary age daughter and she places it in the cart. The mother then picks up green onions and the places them back on the shelf. She picks up a bundle of broccoli, asks her elementary age daughter is she likes it and the girl shakes her head 'no' and the mother places the broccoli back on the shelf. The preschool daughter is walking next the the cart and raising her hands. The two sisters talk with each other. The father is holding a shopping basket and watching and listening to his wife and daughters. The shopping cart is filled with fresh fruit and vegetables as well as a loaf of bread. A senior Caucasian produce manager is in the background assisting a young woman. A handheld video pans from the green vegetables to the family.
