Unteruhldingen, Germany - May 14, 2014: The pile dwelling Museum Unteruhldingen is an archaeological open-air museum located on Lake Constance with a museum building in the town of Uhldingen-Mühlhofen, in the District of Bodensee in Baden-Württemberg, which presents archaeological finds and reconstructions of stilt villages from the stone age and bronze age. In 1922, it was the formation year, 6,000 visitors. Today, there are up to 290,000 visitors each year as in the photo can be seen, including more than 100,000 students, thus it is one of the largest open-air museums in Europe.

Lake Viverone is the third largest lake in Piedmont, after Lake Maggiore and Lake Orta. The archaeological site of Lake Viverone has become part of the prehistoric pile-dwelling sites of the Unesco Alps and it is possible to see a small suggestive reconstruction.
