Blooming Tree With A Strong Root System "This traditional watercolor of a blooming tree with it's root system emphasized, was created by me, Sandy Sandy, in 2009. This image lends itself to many symbolic concepts. Notice the variety of soft, hard and rough edges. Here translucent watercolor shows off the granular imperfections of natural pigments. Interesting color transitions flow and mingle in an organic way, like only TRUE watercolor paint can. This image was painted with real water, synthetic brushes and quality tube watercolors on handmade textured cotton rag paper from France. I am very comfortable with this wet-into-wet watercolor technique and have been using the same methods and art materials for over three decades." Root stock illustration
