Description
Ciris or asphodelus (Asphodelus) is the common name of the plant species that make up the genus Asphodelus from the Asphodelaceae family. In March and April, while its green leaves are just emerging from the soil, the grass collected from the mountains is sold as a vegetable and consumed in large quantities. Çirişli pastry, soup, juicy food and pilaf are made. It has a unique smell.
