Description
There is a source in Tajimi City, Gifu Prefecture, and it is a first-class river that flows through the western part of Aichi Prefecture such as Oguchi Town, Konan City, and Iwakura City. The management section as the Gojo River is 28.2 km in total length from Inuyama City to the junction of Shinkawa in Kiyosu City. The area around Iwakura City flows through the city, and about 1,300 cherry blossoms decorate both sides of the bank over about 7.6 km. During the cherry blossom season, the "Iwakura Cherry Blossom Festival" is held, and the cherry blossom arch woven by the cherry blossoms on both sides is wonderly, and it has been selected as one of the "100 Best Cherry Blossom Spots in Japan."
