Description
American redstart fledgling, a tiny ball of fluff just out of its Connecticut nest, waiting in witch hazel for its parents to deliver food in the form of a flying insect. This migratory songbird is a warbler that breeds mainly in the eastern U.S. and much of Canada, and winters in Central America, the West Indies, and northern South America.
