Description
A 90-year-old beech forest grows in a corner of Matsunoyama. In the early Showa period (1926-1989), the beech trees, which had once been cut down and left bare, grew all at once again, forming a beautiful, slender stand that has come to be known as the "Beauty Forest. The forest has become a tourist attraction that attracts many photography enthusiasts.
