Description
Bogota, Colombia - Looking towards the North Eastern corner of Bolivar Square in the Andean Capital city of Bogota in Colombia, South America. The building in view is the 'Palacio de Justicia' or translated, the Palace of Justice. It is the Country's Supreme Court. Many local Colombians nonchalantly walk by, as they go about their day to day life while chatting with friends or relatives. Like many other squares across the world, there are plenty of pigeons on the square, waiting for visitors to feed them. The Andean peak of Monserrate can be seen to the right of the image. The sky is overcast; it will rain shortly. The altutude at street level is about 8,500 feet above sea level. Most people wear a jacket or an additional layer of clothing to keep warm. Photo shot in the afternoon sunlight on an overcast day; horizontal format. Copy space.
