Description
Photo shows a young Blue-fronted Amazon or Amazona Aestiva. A South American Amazon parrot; it's common name is derived from the distinctive blue marking on it's head above the beak. It is the most common of Amazon parrots kept in captivity as pets. They can be taught to speak and sing. Photo shot in the morning sunlight; vertical format, in the reainforest near Iguacu in Brazil. A shallow depth of field blurs the background completely. No people.
