Description
This is the famous bridge built in the 1860s, with its stone gothic arches, connecting Brooklyn and Manhattan. It has an upper level for cyclists and pedestrians, which is shown in this picture, that offers great views of the Manhattan skyline. It forms part of a long recreational trail that starts on the Brooklyn side in the middle of an expressway.
