Here the building (building partial views) of the German National Library, formerly the German Library in Leipzig Saxony Germany. On October 3, 1912 in Leipzig, the "German Library" was founded as an archive library. Founder was the Booksellers Association of the German bookseller in Leipzig, supported by the Kingdom of Saxony and the city of Leipzig. The legal collection mandate of the German National Library comprises from published in Germany in 1913 published media works (on the basis of the legal deposit) and abroad media works in German language translations of German media works in other languages and foreign-language media works over Germany.
