Description
The Rafael Fire was discovered on June 18, 2021 near the Sycamore Canyon Wilderness. It eventually grew to over 77,000 acres and spread smoke over a large part of Northern Arizona. As a result of the smoke, nearby forests took on an other-worldly glow every afternoon and evening. This glowing forest was photographed at Griffith Spring in the Coconino National Forest near Flagstaff, Arizona, USA.
