Description
Colon adenocarcinoma is a glandular neoplasm of the colorectum, representing 98% of colonic cancers. The micrograph shows a moderately differentiated carcinoma, the most frequent variant (60-70%). Tumor cells are forming irregular and complex tubules lined by a disorganized epithelium that invade the muscular layer.
