Khomarlu, Khoda Afarin County, East Azerbaijan province, Iran / Soltanly, Jabrayil District, Azerbaijan: big / south Khoda Afarin / Khudafarin Bridge, across the Aras River in the Caucasus, the border between Iran and Azerbaijan. One of two bridges, approximately 800 m apart, connecting the Iranian province of East Azerbaijan in the south and the Jebrayil Rayon of Azerbaijan in the north. The big bridge has 15 arches and was built in the 13th century, all 15 arches are intact, it may date from the pre-Islamic Achaemenid Empire (550–330 BC). Silk road.
