Description
Lamas de Olo is situated in the Natural reserve of Avao. The schist, granite and thatched houses in this typical village are very old. The village is surrounded by marshes (wet grassland) and fields used to feed the population. The old small sheds (espigueiros), placed on stone pillars are characteristic for the northern regions of Portugal.
