Description
Nubra Valley is a high-altitude desert located in the Ladakh region of India. It is situated at an average elevation of about 3,048 meters (10,000 feet) above sea level and is surrounded by the Karakoram Range of the Himalayas. The valley is characterized by its stark landscape, sand dunes, and the Shyok River, which flows through it.
