Second largest mobile desert in the world-Taklimakan stock photo

Second largest mobile desert in the world-Taklimakan The Taklimakan Desert, located in the center of the Tarim Basin in southern Xinjiang, is the largest desert in China and the tenth largest desert in the world; It is also the second largest mobile desert in the world.
The entire desert is about 1,000 kilometers long from east to west and 400 kilometers wide from north to south, covering an area of 330,000 square kilometers. The annual average precipitation is no more than 100 mm, the lowest is only 4 or 5 mm; And the annual average evaporation is as high as 2,500-3,400 mm.
On both sides of the Tarim desert highway, several hundred kilometers, the sand-fixing plant haloxylon ammodendron was planted, using drip irrigation technology.
Dead Euphrates poplar trees are sometimes seen in the desert. I don't know how many years have passed.
As a result of the wind, the surface of the desert takes on strange patterns.
On the surface, the desert seems dead, but inside, it's full of life. Awe Stock Photo
