Description
Almost three years since his most recent cancer episode; though still with some neuropathy and skin condition residual side effects after several rounds of chemotherapy; a real life, real person, gray bearded, senior adult man home gardener and cancer survivor has gotten on with his "new normal" life. He's wearing a dark blue colorectal cancer support wristband as he bends chicken wire mesh and ties plastic cable ties around a corner stake post on a brand new veggie garden protection cage. The wire frame and soon to-be-added plastic mesh netting will be a boundary barrier to protect new springtime vegetable plants from ubiquitous foraging deer, rabbits and other nibbling creatures who frequent this suburban region in western New York State. The symbolic cancer support wristband is labeled: "Kick Cancer". It was conceived, designed and produced by me - the patient/gardener/photographer. Part of my "Living with Cancer" series - #775615186.
