Description
The Sumatran orangutan (Pongo abelli) is the rarest orangutan species. The Sumatran orangutan lives and is endemic to Sumatra, an island in Indonesia. Their bodies are smaller than Bornean orangutans. The Sumatran orangutan is about 4.6 feet long and weighs 200 pounds. Females are smaller, 3 feet tall and weighing 100 pounds
