Description
Side lighting exposes a large group of furry Cave myotis (Myotis velifer) bats as they hang from the alabaster rock ceiling inside Alabaster Cave in Oklahoma. They are a medium-sized bat with brown or black fur on its back and paler fur on its underside. Its ears are short and pointed and its eyes are small. Cave myotis are insectivores.
