Description
The traditional acai pulp is made with the dismemberment of the seed and the pulp. To obtain the acai pulp for eating, there are a series of steps. The fruit undergoes sieving, cleaning and detoxification. After that, the pulp is extracted in mixers, being beaten and added by controlled amounts of water until reaching the ideal consistency. Then it is packed in plastic bags for sale to end consumers. This entire shoot was carried out in Abaetetuba city (Para state), one of the most important producers of acai in the brazilian Amazon.
