Epernay is known as the ‘Capital of Champagne’ and The Avenue de Champagne, shown here is a UNESCO world heritage listed site. At only a 1.5 kilometres long, it is home to nine of the world's greatest and magnificent champagne houses, including, such famous residents as Moët & Chandon, Perrier-Jouët, Pol Roger, Mercier, Boizel, de Venoge, and VrankenUnderneath the buildings of the Avenue are more than 100 km of chalk cellars in which more than 200 million bottles of Champagne stored at a cool and constant temperature. As can be seen the vineyards encroach upon the town.

De Castellane is a Champagne producer based in the Épernay region of Champagne. The house, founded in 1895, produces both vintage and non-vintage cuvee as well as a blanc de blancs Chardonnay Champagne. Image has been captured in Rue De Reims, Epernay, Champagne, Grand Est, France.
