A trio of wild mustang horses wander in desert BLM public lands on the Little Book Cliffs Wild Horse Range near Grand Junction Colorado. About 90 to 150 wild horses roam the area. The Little Book Cliffs Wild Horse Range is only one of three areas set aside in the U.S. to protect wild and free roaming horses. The horses are tracked by researchers are named.
