Description
On display at a vintage exhibition was this selection of antique medical tools. Plungers, syringes, scalpels, and a shaped enamel tray full of varying forceps and clamps, sights familiar to any surgeon practising during the second world war. Quite grisly, and in some cases primitive, it is still quite apparent to see where some modern medical tools originated, and some items, like bonesaws, are timeless in their brutal simplicity. Paired with the iconic white enamel and blue rimmed bowls and trays, it's an image that's well known to everyone.
