Description
Callistephus chinensis, commonly called China aster, is a popular annual that provides showy, 3-5-inch diameter blooms from early summer to fall on plants clad with ovate, toothed, medium green leaves. It is native to China and Korea, and it is cultivated worldwide as an ornamental plant in cottage gardens and as a cut flower. This is an annual or biennial plant with one erect, mostly unbranched stem growing 20–100cm tall.
