Bogota, Colombia - Looking at a panoramic view of the Andean capital city of Bogota, Colombia in South America, from the peak called Monserrate. The red terracotta roof tiled buildings to the left of the image are located in La Candelaria, where the city was founded in 1538; it is the oldest part of the city. Located at about 8500 feet above mean sea level, with a population of almost 10 Million, Bogota is one of the largest cities in Latin America.
