Description
Common Bluestripe Snapper Lutjanus kasmira occurs throughout most of the Indo-Pacific region in a depth range from 2-265m, common length 25cm, max. 40cm. In daytime, this species forms nearly stationary schools and feeds individually by night on crustaceans and fishes. Some Blotcheye Solderfishes Myripristis berndti: This Soldierfish species occurs in the Indo-Pacific and the Eastern Pacific in a depth range from 3 to 160 meters, inhabits caves and hides under ledges of subtidal reef flats, feeds mainly on plankton such as crab larvae.
