Description
"The South Front of Kedleston Hall. Commissioned by Sir Nathaniel Curzon in 1759, the house was designed by the Palladian architects James Paine and Matthew Brettingham. Subsequently, Robert Adam was charged with the construction of the building and was responsible for many of the design features, including the magnificant South Front. The curved double staircase, corinthian columns, stone garlands, medalions and statues are key features of Adamaas design."
