Description
The ancient city of Teotihuacan (“The Birthplace of the Gods”) was the largest and the first advanced civilization in North America, built by the Toltec people. The avenue of the dead connects two of its largest Pyramids, Pyramid of the Sun and the Pyramid of the Moon. The city lasted more than 800 years with its golden period between 250 – 700 AD.
