Rome, Italy -- A sunset view from the rooftops of the iconic Pantheon district in the heart of Rome. The famous Pantheon with its dome and colonnade is one of the best preserved Roman structures in the Eternal City. This temple was built in 27 BC. by the Consul Marco Vispanio Agrippa for the emperor Augustus and dedicated to all the Roman divinities. Currently the Pantheon is a Catholic church and inside there are the tombs of some members of the Italian royal family and the remains of the great Renaissance artist Raffaello Sanzio (Raffaello).
