Description
As autumn begins to draw in, I thought this would be a good time to post this image. This was taken on a truly magical day when it seemed the whole of the Midlands was covered in a blanket of fog, and all that showed above the fog layer was the tops of the highest hills. I was lucky enough to make it up onto Worcestershire Beacon in the Malvern Hills, and the views were stunning. This shot was taken at the top of the fog layer, so everything below was shrouded in thick fog, and everything above was is bright sunlight. At the boundary between the two there were scenes such as this, with the fog clinging and swirling in the trees, and people could be seen emerging from the cold cloud into the sun.
