View to the Glienicke Bridge, Potsdam, over the River Havel. Glienicke Bridge is the bridge which spans the Havel River to connect the cities of Berlin and Potsdam. It was completed in 1907. The United States and the Soviet Union used it four times to exchange captured spies during the Cold War after World War Two. The Bridge is also a symbol of German Reunification.
