Description
The West Kennet Long Barrow is part of the Avebury Neolithic complex in Wiltshire, England. It is one of the largest and most impressive burial sites in Britain and is much visited. At least 46 people were buried here over a 1000 year period, between 3500BCE and 2200BCE. It was then sealed with chalk rubble, and the giant blocking stones seen in this photo.
