Anibare District, Nauru: Island ring road, entering Anibare bay, driving north along the east coast - you can drive 360º around the island in about 20 minutes, the perimeter is only 17km / 10 miles. Except for phosphate mining and refugee camps, everything in the island is along this road. Nauru drives on the left.

Yaren, Nauru: air traffic control tower and passenger terminal at the Republic of Nauru International Airport, the only airport in the country (there are no domestic flights). The airport was built in 1943 by the Japanese administration of the island. Forest and limestone pinnacles in the background.
Aiwo District, Nauru: Od-N Aiwo Hotel, includes a small casino and a restaurant - Nauru, true to its reputation of being the world's least visited country, has very limited choice of hotels. Od-N Aiwo offers very basic accommodation but excellent location, within walking distance of the airport and government services and institutions.
